Jemma Goddard - Independent Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor
Jemma is a qualified Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor, with 15 years of experience working in social care; including residential homes, care providers, and qualifying with a BA Hons in Social Work in 2018.
Whilst working with the Local Authority, Jemma has worked in various social work teams and management, supporting people living in the community and hospitals, and supporting people with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, people living with dementia and mental health conditions, learning disabilities and older adults.
Jemma has a published chapter 'Working with adults living with dementia' in the academic book aimed at Social Work students 'Social Work Practice with Adults.' As well as providing lectures to BA & MA students about Social Work and dementia care.
Michelle Willshire - Independent Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor
Michelle is a qualified Social Worker with over a decade of experience in both Adults and Children's Social Work.
Michelle qualified with an MSC (Distinction) in Social Work in 2013 and also holds a BA English degree.
Michelle has worked extensively in the hospital teams and locality teams, undertaking Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments, and Best Interest assessments for adults with a range of needs including people with learning disabilities, substance misuse issues, and people living with dementia and acquired brain injuries.
Michelle is a conscientious and compassionate Social Worker, who provides detailed and timely assessments to suit your needs.
